"Our day would not have been as wonderful as it was without Missy! She seamlessly managed everything, from crowd wrangling to tricky parent dynamics to the orchestration of toasts, first dances, and cake cuttings. More-so, working with Missy actually meant I got to enjoy my day. My husband and I handled almost all of the details ourselves - and while I don’t regret being so involved in the planning of our wedding, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my day because I’d be so focused on logistics. Enter Missy and her team: they took over and handled everything. She was so thoughtful in her approach to the day, and she managed the event flawlessly - it meant that I had the time and bandwidth to enjoy the day to the fullest extent. "I really can’t say enough about the excellent service and best-in-class experience provided by Aquidneck Events. I had a destination wedding in Vieques with 30 guests, including a beach wedding and privately catered reception at a large villa where our family stayed with us. This meant there was A LOT of vendor coordination, from transportation, to caterers, to equipment and furniture. Missy made it all seamless and amazing; from guest arrival, to the rehearsal dinner, to our wedding ceremony, to the reception, and the eventual guest departure; It was all smooth sailing.
As a very detail oriented person, I was afraid of giving up control of such an important event to someone else, but there were two things that impressed me about Missy: 1) she has the education and experience to handle anything we wanted and 2) her passion for weddings and events made me feel like she respected our vision and could consult with us on ways to enhance it and also keep an eye on our budget. Feeling like we were “in it together” with someone who cared as much as we did made it easy to trust Missy and leave things in her very capable hands. She definitely made our wedding planning and execution easy and made it so my fiancé and I could really enjoy the entire experience from start to finish. Missy truly enabled us to have beautiful and unique wedding experience (our friends and family still rave about it) that also didn’t break the bank. We highly recommend Missy and her team!"
